IL-QALBA
ART DIRECTION AND CO-CURATION
Borne out of a passion for product design, paired with a fascination for local architectural heritage, Il-QALBA is an eight-piece collection consisting of intentionally curious wall reliefs, bookends and ashtrays that explore the rapidly disappearing features of Maltese architecture. The intent of this project was to create a sense of preservation of typical Maltese architectural features found in the core of local villages by embodying it in the exhibited objects.
Sera’s contribution to this body of work included the curation of the collection’s branding, photography, narrative and PR efforts.
